When it comes to Instagram it can definitely be scary. Instagram is ever changing and sometimes it can be hard to keep up with it. I honestly don’t keep up with the algorithm instead I consistently show up and support others, however showing up is only half the battle. You can show up all you want but if your post does not have these three things you could be missing out on views and potential clients.

            The three things that every Instagram post should have:

  1. Hashtags
  2. Call to action
  3. Valuable information

Hashtags are a valuable part of a post because it puts your post on the page of that searchable word. When I post things, I use keywords that relate to that post as my hashtags.

Every post needs a call to action this is so important because it tells your audience what to do next. For example, at the end of the post for this blog I will tell my audience to visit the blog for more information.

Making sure your post has valuable information is probably the most important part of a post. If the post does not have valuable information your audience will not come back for more. People turn to social media to learn something. If you are not giving any value, they will find it somewhere else.

Remember from now one when making a post on social media make sure it has hashtags, a call to action, and valuable information. Knowing who your ideal client is makes doing these three things a lot easier.
