I know that can sound crazy and you probably do not want to share all the things you have worked so hard to learn. But in this blog, I will be discussing why it may not be a bad idea! Anyone who knows me knows I will always answer a question and share everything I learn! That is the point of my educational blogs.

It turns you into the expert

This point is probably the most important one. Sharing the knowledge that you have accumulated over your career will turn you into one of the experts! When someone is looking to hire someone, they want the best they want someone with a lot of knowledge in what they need.

When I first started as a wedding photographer there wasn’t as many people who wanted to share their knowledge. I honestly did not want to share what I learned either because I thought it would take my clients from me. However, the opposite happened the more I share the more my business grows.

• It can become a stream of passive income

A lot of wedding photographers have turned educational resources into a passive income. Using what you know to bring in extra income is a great idea. Doing this makes it where you are not just earning money when you work. Eventually you will cap out on income if you do not start offering a passive income stream into your business. But who wouldn’t want to make money when they don’t have to work long hours?

• It’s nice

The last point on why you should share what you learn is simply because it is nice. Imagine where you were when you first started did you know everything? Chances are you didn’t, and someone came along and helped you figure it out. Be that person to others kindness goes so far today.
