It’s inevitable. When you get married, there’s a good chance it will rain on your wedding day. Some couples choose to embrace the rainy weather and have their ceremony outdoors anyway. Others decide to move their wedding indoors last minute. No matter what you decide to do, a rainy wedding can still be beautiful. I have realized recently that I love rainy sessions or weddings. They are so romantic there is just something about them that I cant get over.
If you are planning a rainy summer wedding day don’t despair. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of it:
-Communicate with your photographer ahead of time. Make sure they know that you are okay with getting a little wet and that they are prepared with the right equipment.
-Plan for an indoor backup. In case the rain is too heavy, you don’t want to be left without a Plan B.
-Bring umbrellas! Not just for you and your spouse, but for your guests as well. Nobody wants to show up to a wedding soaking wet.
-Have fun with it! rainy days can be beautiful and romantic. Embrace the weather and make the most of it.
Despite the rain, your wedding day will be beautiful. Just remember to relax and go with the flow. After all, it’s just water. 🙂
